About this place
Some days call for a satisfying curry with nan; on others, a lighter bowl of noodle soup sounds better. THIRD EYE centres on Indian cuisine, while also offering Asian options including pho and Thai dishes.
Curry sets range from a choice of 1 curries with nan or rice to combinations of 2 curries with mini rice or nan. Options include chicken, butter chicken, spinach, vegetable, bean and keema curry, so diners can stick with a familiar favourite or try more than one. One diner described the keema as substantial, with plenty of filling rather than a particularly saucy texture, and paired butter chicken with cheese nan at lunch. Another reported that the spinach chicken curry came with a large piece of chicken, making both the curry and nan a hearty meal.
Cheese nan stood out for one visitor, who remembered its crisp underside and soft, chewy centre. Alongside plain nan, the menu lists garlic, sesame, basil cheese, and coconut and kinako varieties, offering several ways to change up the bread served with curry.
For something beyond curry, prawn pho is one option. A diner who ordered it for dinner found the medium size filling, with a light taste but a pronounced broth. The bowl included dried prawns, and a generous portion of coriander was served separately. The menu describes it as pho with prawns and a hint of chilli oil. Other noodle dishes include chicken pho in chicken broth, topped with tender boiled chicken; tom yum ramen, whose custom-made noodles are served in a hot and sour soup; and THIRD EYE ramen, a house-style bowl with plenty of vegetables. There are choices across different levels of heat and kinds of topping.
For a smaller bite, the menu also includes fresh spring rolls, chicken tikka and achar potatoes. The Asian lunch sets feature dishes such as nasi goreng, gapao rice and Thai-style fried noodles, making it easier for a group to find options beyond curry.
Lassi and mango lassi are among the drinks to have alongside a meal; one visitor ordered lassi with curry. Diners can opt for a lunch set or take their time over small plates and drinks such as beer. The restaurant caters to solo meals as well as family and group dining, at both lunch and dinner.
